Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year contract he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial important trophy of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he previously was, and would definitely think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
