In a unexpected crossover event that challenges conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden rituals and fearsome changes reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana alongside multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
